Erin & Pia Jane Know Their Online Etiquette

As you know (see this post if you don't), honoring people's and specifically artists' copyrights is a subject close to my heart. I feel very strongly about artists getting the credit they deserve and while in essence it's all very simple (don't use anything that's not yours without permission), I too can see things are changing in the online (art) world. Often these changes are to my displeasure (see my comments on Pinterest below), but other times I have to admit I very much enjoy the openness the Internet has brought us. It's all about sharing in the right manner, though, and I think it's an important subject to keep talking about (as things will surely keep on changing). As a blogger, I think it's important to have a sense of integrity when it comes to crediting artists on your blog. Just be professional about it and always, always credit the original source of the image.

I've been planning to write about this theme for a while and was so pleased to see that fellow bloggers Erin Loechner (Design for Mankind) and Pia Jane Bijkerk created this amazing poster on how to credit your images as a response to Chesea Fuss' (Frolic) and Grace Bonney's (Design*Sponge) posts on the subject.
